Student Technology Assistance Center
Chris Snyder, 227-2258
csnyder@email.wcu.edu
The
Student Technology Assistance Center (STAC) has recently changed locations within Hunter Library
and is now located in the student computer lab. The
STAC's focus
is still on the individual learning needs of the student, but now the help is available
within the actual computer lab. If students need help using word processing programs,
spreadsheets, databases, electronic presentations, campus network tools (such as
My Cat, WebCat, FTP, etc.), or the Internet (such as web browsers and newsgroups),
they can call the Center's coordinator or stop by for an appointment. Check the
web site at: www.wcu.edu/techassist/
for the dates and tiems of small-group, student-only technology workshops.
